As our Sales Representative supporting Nike Inc., you will sell, merchandise and support the sale of Nike sporting goods accounts, licensed specialty retailers and team shops while providing the highest level of service and technical expertise. You'll sell to and service your account base within an assigned territory through regularly scheduled product presentations and service calls. You'll also solicit and submit account base orders for each booking deadline; establish processes for at once/prop fulfillment and merchandise support; and be responsible for generating revenue and increasing Nike market share and penetration for product in all channels of your assigned territory. This opportunity also involves managing the assigned account base through specific business planning/inventory control and analysis, as well as creating and managing product assortment plans for each assigned account. In addition, you'll develop strong relationships with all internal and external customers through effective communication, efficient organizational skills and exceptional follow through.
*Position to be located in Northern California.
Requirements for the position include: • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field • 4 years' inside or outside sales or customer service experience • 3 years' additional outside sales experience in lieu of a degree • Sales or marketing experience in the sportswear industry is required • Experience establishing relationships in an assigned territory is required • Ability to work varied business hours, including weekends • Suitable vehicle and valid driver's license • Able to travel up to 50% of the time • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of samples for account presentations • Able to utilize laptop computer as a selling tool for order entry, training, merchandising and account planning/management to amplify and enhance organization, productivity and professionalism
