The Warehouse Associates are key to AWBC’s success in delivering product to our BAM stores in a timely manner. The Warehouse Associate performs all functions within the warehouse, including but not limited to: Picking orders, pulling merchandise to fill orders through direction of voice pick headset device, stacking items into totes and onto carts/conveyor belt, stocking, counting, receiving, shipping, and processing returns in a fast and accurate manner.  

 

Roles and Responsibilities
  
  • Accurately identify the correct items from their correct location.
  • Add or remove labels from product as assigned.
  • Counts product to be stocked.
  • Fills store and customer orders for all customers. 
  • Keys product into system using an RF scanner. 
  • Loads product skids on truck trailers.
  • Moves product from staging areas to stocking locations.
  • Operates shrink wrap machine according to standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Receive product using an RF scanner.
  • Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Responsible for removing product from shelves as requested.
  • Scan or key orders per established process.
  • Scan product on the Erosorter.
  • Stacks or moves product from conveyor belts to skids. 
  • Stacks product on shelves.
  • Verifies shipments against manifest before they are loaded on the trucks.
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Must be Able to:
  • Continuously stand up to 4 hours.
  • Walking short distances through the department/building.
  • Use hands/arms to pick and carry product and operate required equipment.
  • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Speak in English with or without an assistive device.
  • Hear with or without an assistive device.
  • Read and write legibly. Including very small print.
  • Continuously stand, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, scanning, counting, keying orders, cleaning, carrying, and move freight. Including repetitive motion.

Must be able to work In variable work locations.
