Job Description
- Product knowledge expert for one or more of the following: Fiction, Comics, Non-Fiction categories, Kids and Toys.
- Familiar with store inventory and trends in those areas.
- Responsible for sharing key knowledge of hot/specialty items with General Associates and all 2nd & Charles staff.
- Oversees day-to-day look and feel of areas
- Assists Media Manager with area markdowns
- Leads and assists General Associates in shelving/organizing/merchandising area products.
- Assists Lead Buyer in identifying items for Social Media postings
- Creates features as assigned by Media Manager or GM.
Job Requirements
- Buying/Merchandising Experience
- 18 years of age or older.
- Positive background check
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Demonstrated and continued adherence to all Second & Charles Policies and Procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Customer Service Policy.
- Demonstrated ability to act in a mature and conscientious manner.
- Completion of required training.
