Software Systems Analyst (Government)

 Under immediate supervision, install, configure, service, repair, and maintain information technology systems in both a stand‐alone and client‐ server environment, including MS server, Defense Message Systems, and other authorized information technology systems. Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers. Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment, evaluate and resolve customer information system problems, effect required hardware upgrades and repair to maintain mission capability. Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensure the proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network. Install, optimize and troubleshoot Local Area and Base Area Networks. Services. Provide on-site, to include remote sites, technical support to assist in updating system patches and firmware, application maintenance, hardware configuration, system functions and security, system performance, back-up capabilities and hardware/software troubleshooting (to include interface requirements on the client side).Test proposed procedures and operating system patches for correctness and compatibility with existing application software and procedures. Analyze and diagnose complex computer and communications problems to determine causes and make recommendations as to necessary corrective actions. Perform mitigation and remediation duties as required by RETINA, ACAS, STIGS, SCAP and other approved security tools.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: 2-4 years of relevant experience. Education: High School GED, or Equivalent / B.A. Certifications: A , NET or SEC , as well as MCSA or MCP

Required Clearance: Candidate must possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance
