POSITION OVERVIEW

Architectural Coatings has an opening for an experienced sales professional in the TrueFinish Industrial Coatings group. TrueFinish is a newly formed, highly visible team focused on selling OEM coatings to job shops and small to mid-size manufacturers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, pursue, negotiate, develop and implement plan with new customers.
  • Function in a full sales capacity while also assisting customers with technical support, product expertise and application of the product line.
  • Communicate and maintain the sales manager apprised of market development, services and products of the competitors, product performance and customer acceptance.
  • Manage and develop current customer accounts, account receivables and expenses to achieve sales growth and /or profit objectives.
  • Work with your counterparts to provide product and application training and assist them in finding new accounts and selling TrueFinish products.
  • Business degree or relevant work experience. A preference is given to candidates who have a minimum of 3 years of sales and/or technical skills in industrial OEM coatings and a strong knowledge of the coatings’ market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - to communicate effectively with all customer levels (business owners, purchasing personnel, product users)
  • Solid communications skills - in writing, IT presentations, public speaking and one to one negotiations.
  • Ability and comfort level to work independently in the market and function in an industrial setting with little direct support.
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory and to company meetings.
