The Lumper assists the truck driver in making evening deliveries to Sherwin Williams stores located in a metropolitan area. This involves riding along with the driver in a semi truck to each delivery destination, helping to unload product at store locations, keeping a keen awareness to safety and security, and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
Must have access to reliable transportation
Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to operate a hand pallet jack with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center environment
Previous labor experience in lifting and moving heavy objects
The successful candidate must also pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
