APPLIED ANALYTICS ANALYST

Data Creation:
      Create relational databases for critical business information to be consumed in both process feeds and reporting for the General Merchandise Management (GMM) team
      Responsible for the standardization and execution of information and data across the GMM team
      Work closely with Direct-to-Consumer Dimensions, NikeStores, Nike.com & NikeFactoryStores, team members of buying, planning, and product presentation across multiple categories to develop tools and databases to achieve merchandising solutions (i.e.  exception reporting for outdate management, style-color count, space productivity, product proportions etc.)
 
Processes:
      Create consistent reporting and process execution to determine both short & long term success (reduce redundancy)
      Wrangling data from multiple sources including sales, inventory, product, and customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
      A resource to work on businesses solutions based on data needs, integrating information into the decision making process
 
Analysis:
      Consulting with internal customers (e.g., Planning, Allocation, Buying) to develop analysis that lead to actionable insights to accelerate profitable growth
      Discover new opportunities to optimize business through analytics and statistical modeling
      Develop standardized analysis processes to reduce decision subjectivity for normal operational activities  
 
Leadership:
      Represent DTC when working with NA & Global DTC & Consumer Digital Tech (CDT)
      Communicate cross-functionally across the GMM team
  • Degree in (Statistics, Decisions Sciences, Computer Science, Economics etc..) preferred
  • Experience in database analytics required
  • Strong technical, analytical skill set in one of the following ( SAS, SQL, Python, etc..)
  • Preferred:  Predictive Modeling Experience
  • Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to broader audience required
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of experiment design & analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
