As a member of the store leadership team, the primary objectives of this position are to increase sales, control expenses and sell distressed product by assisting the store manager with operations including office (human resources, financial and cash handling), logistics, warehouse, and maintenance. Will assist in other areas as needed, such as overseeing specific departments. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Voucher all bills such as - FedEx, UPS, Old Dominion, refuse, utilities, armored service, etc. Preparing all warehouse paperwork. Assist management team in warehouse with prompt and accurate receipt of goods and door to floor presentation.
Assists store manager with HR function such as completing new hire paperwork, logging employee time, calculating and entering weekly payroll, applicant flow, interviews, and timely submission of documents to division HR.
Oversee all vault duties. Order change to replenish currency and coin. Deliver bank deposit (where applicable). Reconcile petty cash. Sort paperwork for retention and shredding.
Reconcile store 40 account monthly. Prepare credit memo for concealed shortages. Assist with coordination of best practices and markdowns. Reconcile purchasing card statement.
Provide floor leadership during hours of operation as well as opening and closing the store on assigned days. Will be responsible for specific area of the store, either men’s, misses, or intimates/youth, including visual presentation. Execute best practices.
Order all supplies such as janitorial, warehouse, office, fixtures, sign hardware, shopping and register bags, uniforms, walkie-talkies and ear pieces and bulk supplies. Assist in ensuring cleanliness of store, adhering to maintenance standards. Liaison for repairs and service.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
This position involves opening and closing responsibility, therefore, weekends and evening work schedule is required.
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, or controls, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb and balance.
