Job Overview:

Macy's Logistics and Operations a division of Macy's and Bloomingdale’s is currently seeking a talented individual for and Operations Specialist. This position is an administrative specialist.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Operations (Outbound / Inbound) team with various facets of the area
• Handle Kronos and timekeeping issues including verifying rosters each day
• Create and developing reporting tools to assist business needs.
• Collect data using system information including, WM, LM, PM and Kronos
• Assist with staffing plans and hours allocation
• Work in Outbound areas as needed
• Handle paperwork and reporting
• Printing packing labels as needed
• Manage the equipment room
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
• Adhere to conveyor lockout procedures.
• Work on elevated platforms and conveyor systems.
• Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible and adaptable to change- a Team Player
• Ability to understand and communicate directions in the FC regarding Standard Operating Procedures and security & safety guidelines.
• Meet accuracy and productivity standards.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 25lbs repetitively.
• Ability to use multiple radio frequency devices, i.e. hand held scanners.
• Ability to learn or have previous knowledge of Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, Mainframe, and Kronos.
• Ability to learn area-specific functions within multiple systems.
• Ability to learn basic troubleshooting of RF hand held scanners
• Ability to learn basic configuration of RF device and loading software of RF devices
