Description:

Manager of a team who is knowledgeable of product, buying for men, women, and children, familiarity of merchandising, delegating tasks, reading reports, problem solving, and cash handling.

·         Customer service

o   Greeting customers, attending to their needs, maintaining a neat store for easier shopping

·         Cashier duties

o   Ringing up sales, conducting returns and exchanges, issuing store credit and/or gift cards, opening and closing the store

·         Inventory monitoring

o   Knowledge of which items are selling, re-stocking, knowledge of which items need to be reordered

·         Receiving shipment

o   Checking in product to ensure packing slip matches item quantity, proper placement of items on sales floor once received, proper placement of back stock, checking packing slip against quick receive documents

Qualifications:

·         5 years’ experience as a STORE MANAGER in a retail/apparel setting.

·         5 years of hiring, recruitment, and training of retail team

·         3 year’s visual merchandising experience required

·         Familiarity with the Volcom brand and action sports industry

·         Flexible schedule; ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

·         Excellent references required; former employers required

·         Strong computer and POS system experience required

·         Strong sales knowledge and training required
