Position Summary:

GOALS

  • Lead a team that successfully plans and manages large move management projects.
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the move management process.
  • Ensure all move management activities are performed in a manner consistent with documented processes.
  • Adherence to move management schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure data accuracy within move management and CAFM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all key performance indicators.
  • Provide superior employee management.
  • Meet assigned financial targets.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
OVERVIEW
  • Manage all MAC (Move, Add, Change) activities on account.  These moves will include people/box, furniture, IT and telecom responsibilities.
  • Proactively manage project-related issues on account.
  • Ensure best practices and policies are being followed.
  • Receive and process client move requests.
  • Provide a single point of contact for all move management activities.
  • Participates in planning meetings hosted by the client, Strategic Space Planning and other key stakeholders.
  • Establish move related goals and objectives, making changes where necessary to ensure desired results.
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and account requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Incorporation of “best practices” into move projects.
  • Initiate and manage meetings to review move schedules with move vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk.
  • Procure and manage move labor.
  • Manage supporting suppliers (technology, telephone, furniture, etc.).
  • Evaluate vendors to ensure compliance with the standards of performance.
 
MANAGEMENT
  • Manage move management staff.
  • Provide career guidance and development for employees.
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the move management process.
  • Ensure all move management activities are performed in a manner consistent with documented processes.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating several move coordinators at various levels within the organization/team.
  • Has successfully managed large moves and/or move teams.
  • Background in project management, construction management, architecture or project strategy planning is desirable.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
