Nike’s Manufacturing Innovation (MI) team is looking for a highly focused, goal-oriented individual with the desire to lead large-scale technical programs and deliver results that will revolutionize our current and future footwear manufacturing ecosystem. As a Technical Program Manager, you will support development of new technologies for footwear manufacturing while effectively managing multiple programs within the MI portfolio. These programs span multiple internal business functions and organizations as well as external resources and partners while being regional or global in scope. You will be expected to manage program teams without direct reporting authority. You will work with a wide range of footwear manufacturing technologies and technical teams to deliver program goals. This position will interface with program sponsors and leadership teams to define strategic priorities, milestones, deliverables, and budgets to achieve the desired business benefit and impact. You will help create the program vision to support “Fewer, Further, Faster” while maximizing output. An effective program management methodology is required in organizing work-streams while communicating and monitoring project timelines to highlight, address, and resolve challenges in a timely manner. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about manufacturing and excited to lead strong program teams with clear objectives while working effectively as a cohesive unit and having fun while doing so. • B.S. or B.A Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies, Business Operations or equivalent work experience • Ten or more years of professional experience focused within manufacturing or product/process development and a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading technical programs in creative and innovative work settings • Manufacturing/Process Engineer desired • Experience and proven track record of transitioning programs/technologies from concept into commercialization • Experience leading and motivating strong teams based on different talents and skills • Effective communication and influencing techniques • Demonstrated success developing and presenting complex ideas to executive audiences and effectively articulating the voice of the customer to senior management in a clear, concise and decisive manner • Ability to communicate effectively in a world-wide environment with both technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time
