Key Responsibilities
Reads and interprets production orders and pick tickets. Exactly follows material handling processes and procedures to coordinate, store, assemble, label and ship individual components, kitted together for final distribution to various locations. Reads and follows special instructions. Operates forklift, motorized pallet jack and electric delivery carts. Follows housekeeping standards set. Communicates effectively and completely with team members and other employees as necessary. Follows all prescribed operating and equipment handling procedures with or without reasonable accommodation. Participates in 5 S activities. Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned
Experience and Education
At least one year of directly applicable experience preferred.
Functional and Technical Skills
Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must be able to read production orders and pack tickets. Must be able to read and apply both Standard and Metric weights and measurements. Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools, drum dollies, and powered forklifts with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license. Should possess basic computer skills (QIA, excel, word, power point). Must be able to use and/or wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to work any shift. Must be able to work overtime, as necessary.
