Starting wage is $10.50/hour (Extra $1.00/hour for hours after 3pm)

Wed-Sat (6:00am - 4:30pm)

Position Purpose:

The partner works within a team environment to count prescription medications and label for review by a pharmacist ensuring proper dispensing of prescription orders.

Essential Job Functions: The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Pull medications from stock shelving to fill prescription orders.
• Determine proper packaging to be used for product based on handling and shipping instructions.
• Hand count medications or use pill counting machines to count.
• Properly label medication bottles or packages.
• Include with orders required patient information sheets and other information inserts based on product and/or state specific requirements.
• Send product down the fill line to pharmacists for count, medication and patient information review and dispensing.
• Bring sealed orders to pack area for shipping labels and placement on conveyers to load into shipping trailers.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This is not a supervisory position but may require the training, coaching and mentoring of newly hired, cross trained or transferring partners.

Work Environment:

• The work environment is an enclosed secure area that is temperature and humidity controlled.
• The partner will be assigned to a standing counter work zone based on daily task assignment.
• The partner must be capable of standing, walking, bending, squatting and reaching above shoulder level repeatedly.
• Need to be capable of lifting and carrying up to 30lbs.
