The Order Filling clerk performs all Order Filling functions including but not limited to: Picking orders, pulling merchandise to fill orders through direction of voice pick headset device, stacking items into totes and onto carts/conveyor belt in a fast and accurate manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
Fills store and customer orders for all customers.
Responsible for removing product from shelves as requested.
Add or remove labels from product as assigned.
Scan or key orders per established process.
Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Must be Able to:
Continuously stand up to 4 hours.
Walk between 4-6 miles a day. Walking short distances through the department/building.
Use hands/arms to pick and carry product and operate required equipment.
Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
Speak in English with or without an assistive device.
Hear without an assistive device.
Read and write legibly. Including very small print.
Accurately identify the correct items from their correct location.
Listen to information, and follow directions provided through an electronic headset.
Continuously stand, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, scanning, counting, keying orders, cleaning, carrying, and move freight. Including repetitive motion.
