International Transportation, Senior Analyst

This position will lead in both International/Domestic Logistics operations (Imports & Exports), including customer service, transportation routing, and delivery management for merchandise shipments. Transportation modes will be air, ocean, truck, and rail shipments, of which are moving from 18 origins to US Domestic and International DC locations across Europe, the Middle East, & Asia.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers as it relates to the routing, tracking, and delivery performance for all merchandise shipments.
- Field inquiries from internal customers and external vendors regarding shipment issues, carrier services and department procedures.
- Participate in meetings with internal customers and external service providers.
- Contribute to process improvements, both within Transportation and in other internal departments.
- Perform high level analytics on behalf of the department, as well as lead execution for major initiatives such as new Distribution Center openings, Sourcing strategy shifts, and proposals for new business.
- Identify freight saving opportunities, implement process changes, and measure and report results.
- Hold service providers accountable for performance by challenging appropriately and effectively.

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Proficient computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers
- EDI knowledge and Supply Chain Visibility application experience a plus
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities
- Creative thinking, open-minded
- Strong ability to dissect and speak to analytical information
- Courage to contribute in all settings (project development and implementation, Service Provider/3 PL meetings, internal discussions and associate development)
- Past experience in completing bids a plus; air, ocean, truckload, or intermodal
- Previous transportation experience in retail/DTC strongly preferred
