We are looking for a results-oriented Sourcing Manager for Nike Retail to help leverage our suppliers to shape the experience for Nike Consumers. This role will focus on all aspects of our direct to consumer business from store operations, to digital commerce, to partner store experience and will require creating holistic strategic plans for entire spend across global and multi-geographic clients. You will be responsible for owning key relationships with finance and direct to consumer stakeholders to bring key strategies to life.
Must be familiar with sourcing activities such as analyzing the supply base, requirements planning, risk management, market analysis, strategy development, competitive bidding (RFx), supplier negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, supplier management, performance reporting, and proficiency with sourcing tools. You'll work with business stakeholders to build consensus and alignment for sourcing projects, identify key stakeholders and collaborate, advise and influence (where appropriate) across Nike, Inc. In addition, you'll utilize procurement operational excellence which includes preferred purchasing/transaction methods, payment methodology and working capital principles.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify key procurement opportunities and risks within Direct to Consumer
Develop and execute strategic plans to address spend as well as consumer engagement experience
Collaborate with business stakeholders to achieve targets, maximize supplier collaboration and innovation, improve supplier performance etc.
Support the Senior Director in change management efforts to continuously increase spend under management and integrate sourcing into business unit decision making
Guide, support and mentor procurement colleagues and train any assigned direct or indirect reports on strategic sourcing concepts and implement sourcing leading practices
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
MBA or relevant consulting experience strongly preferred
C.P.M., CPSM or a related certification is strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years sourcing experience preferably in the retail category
Demonstrated ability to lead sourcing initiatives, develop and execute negotiations strategies, and manage contract development activities
Excellent communications and influencing skills
General financial skills and knowledge, including understanding of Total Cost of Ownership and budgeting
Proficiency with Microsoft applications: including advanced level Word and Excel; intermediate level PowerPoint and Project
Proficiency with an e-sourcing platform
Ability to adapt quickly and make an impact in a rapid paced Procurement Organization
