Workplace Design & Connectivity WHQ Finance Director – Corporate Real Estate and Services

To help achieve these goals, NIKE formed the Workplace Design and Connectivity (WD C) function, which is leading the transformation of the workplace experience through a focus on physical location, space, services, and connectivity solutions.

The WD C team is leveraging systems, design thinking, and key partnerships across the NIKE organizational matrix and with key external industry experts to bring NIKE to the forefront of new ways of working. WD C serves as an enterprise catalyst under the COO, to drive change, strengthen its global operations and accelerate progress toward the Company’s strategic objectives.

NIKE is continuing to make strategic investments in its World Headquarters (WHQ) spaces and services to accommodate growth. As the WD C Finance Director for WHQ, you’ll be responsible for:

• Partnering with functional leadership to drive the integration of our WHQ financial plans and operational strategies over the long term. 
• Providing a clear visibility to the capital investments we plan to make as well as the ongoing operational costs of managing physical space and services for our WHQ workplace environments. 
• Leading the WHQ financial planning process, starting with our 3-year strategic planning process all the way through to our final fiscal year operating budget. Throughout the planning and operating cycle you’ll be the finance voice at the table as WHQ investments move through our capital investment approval process and you’ll ensure they’re clearly connected to strategy and financial expectations have been appropriately scrutinized. 
• Facilitating a robust performance management and reporting process throughout the fiscal year to ensure we deliver against our financial commitments and can dynamically re-allocate resources as necessary.    
• Working closely with the controlling function to ensure the appropriate application of our accounting policies as we make prioritized investments in our corporate real estate and services.
• Overseeing the funding model for our WHQ workplace related investments – balancing a center-led strategy with the need to keep business partners aligned around optimizing investment against our most important corporate goals.
• You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to influence executive leadership with clear and concise fact-based analysis to drive action.  As a people manager you will need to be able to set a vision and prioritize deliverables across a complex body of work.  And most importantly, you should be excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact and help transform the workplace at NIKE.
