Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Design and Construction (Virtual)

Position Summary:

This position can work remotely: preferred locations – Las Vegas, Florida, Texas, or Southern California.
 
OBJECTIVES

  • Work as part of the Project Team, assisting with the development of scope, budget, and schedule for healthcare related project work.
  • Complete project assignments with emphasis on quality of services and attention to timely response to local consumer and client needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop schedule and budget for assigned projects.
  • Proactively manage project-related issues.
  • Conduct and document all project meetings.
  • Create and track all project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation for all project assignments.
  • Coordinate daily construction and development activities associated with project assignments.
  • Coordinate activities between the Owner, JLL, architect, general contractor, and Alliance Partners.
  • Provide detailed project cost reporting, scheduling, vendor coordination, etc.
  • Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned projects.
  • Ensure accurate management of all project financial requirements
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule that allows for travel to project sites as assigned.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Three (3) years minimum project management experience in a healthcare setting is required. 
  • Experience dealing with the integration of healthcare delivery systems, technological innovations, an increasingly complex regulatory environment, restructuring of work, and an increased focus on preventive care
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to prepare and track project budgets and schedules
  • Understanding of the requirements for a business relocation as well as ability to manage a project in a facility that remains open for business throughout the project
  • Familiarity with architectural, furniture and space planning drawings and their use.
  • Flexibility with work hours and available on call after working hours for handling urgent issues
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with physicians, executive and management and line level external and internal clients
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented approach to job responsibilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team environment and independently
  • Proficiency with Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and Job Cost Accounting software.
