RSL Program Manager

As a Product Compliance Engineer in our Global Footwear Division, you'll protect the brand and build consumer loyalty by participating in the development, implementation and management of key Nike product compliance standards and processes related to the RSL (Restricted Substance List). You will lead the RSL implementation for the footwear business unit and ensure this implementation is consistent with all other Nike, Inc. business units and established Nike product compliance standards, sustainable chemistry, legal, & regulatory requirements. As a member of the Global Footwear Product Excellence team, you will also interact with the Nike Corporate Sourcing, Manufacturing & Sustainability (SM&S) Operations and Regulatory Compliance Teams, attending regular meetings to support the development and continuous improvement of the RSL database. In response to in-market failures, you'll interface and partner with the Corporate Product Chemistry team, Product Safety team, and/or Legal, to coordinate the implementation of proper failure resolution processes with Nike Liaison Office teams and vendors/factories.
• B.S./M.S. in Chemistry or Physical Engineering or Environmental Science degree
• 5 yrs of work experience in technical related field
• A head for numbers – curious yet objective independent thinker driven by scientific facts
• Strong written/verbal/presentation communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
• Team player, collaborator, and influencer
