Global Process Manager - S&OP

Overview
 
As the Process Manager for the Global Sales & Operations Planning organization, you will play a lead role in strategically elevating marketplace health driven cross-functional business analytics & scenario planning capabilities for our Global organization.   You will collaborate across functions and with our Geography partners to bring together both internal data and plans with external marketplace intelligence.  Marketplace health driven analytics and scenario planning capabilities will serve to elevate both operational and margin accretive financial performance.  You will also have a proven aptitude to proactively surface risk & opportunities in business plans to leadership.  You will drive consistency of reporting and support the efforts and story-telling for key S&OP processes. As the global process champion for S&OP, you will partner with a world-class team of S&OP and functional planning leaders to weave information into business process designs and functional specifications. 
This individual should have business analyst capabilities with the capacity to assess business systems, processes, and problems and bridge that with technical solutions.  You will need to have a strong understanding of our Integrated Planning Processes and how to work efficiently across the Nike Matrix.  Analytical skills to assess risks & opportunities in internal plans and then translate them into stories that influence leadership to drive action are key skillsets.  Management and Finance experience is a plus.
This role will also play a key part in helping to implement our Integrated Business Planning program.  As a team member on this team, you will be responsible for creating clear project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the constraints of the project management triangle, which are cost, time, scope, and quality.  You will set and manage the cross functional tracks of work and lead the cross functional operating cadence for the E2E Integrated Business Planning Program.  You’ll lead the ongoing management of tools and processes supporting the deployment tracks, establishing scorecard metrics to monitor progress.  
Your partnerships will include but are not limited to Geography S&OP, Global Categories, Commerce, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Finance, Nike Tech, and Direct to Consumer.  This role’s virtual network is extensive and will require the individual to manage relationships across all of the Geographies and throughout the Nike Matrix. 
 
Core Accountabilities
 
  • Strong understanding of key Integrated Business Planning processes and data with ability to bridge and directly work with technical development teams to support S&OP strategic initiatives.
  • Lead all aspect in order to execute against the project plan in order to achieve the category objectives, serve the consumer and minimize costs and risks.
  • Keep the project on track through transparent management of dates and metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to develop realistic implementation and transition plans that are supported by the overall organization in order to enable the strategic capabilities.
  • Support and drive consistency in story telling for key S&OP processes across all Geographies and Categories.
  • Track portfolio of initiatives and process improvements.
  • Be the business partner and influencer to S&OP Directors and Sr. Director.
Critical Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field and 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 5 years’ professional experience in analytics/logistics /planning/other relevant field, preferably with a large corporate entity.
  • Experience with project management methodology.
  • Experience building and implementing new capabilities within fortune 500 company.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and sales & operations planning (S&OP).
  • Advanced analytical mindset with strong financial acumen and aptitude.
  • Management experiences a plus.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with Nike partners at a functional, regional and global level.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and partner effectively using strong verbal and written communication in English and across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, Tableau, SharePoint, TM1 (COGNOS), SAP, and SQL.
