Database/Web Application Software Developer   (Government)

AT&T - NORFOLK, Virginia

AT&T is seeking an experienced Software Developer to provide web application/software development in support of the Navy’s Electronic Warfare (EW) Data/System. This position will involve working with the EW Technical Data Analyst and liaisons with Navy and DoD Electronic Warfare system engineers to integrate data products through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). As well as provide guidance to the customer in data product/application design best practices and optimized methods for delivery.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in the field of software development with knowledge in Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) using Structured Query Language (SQL).
• 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in the field of software development with specific knowledge in MS.NET Application development/maintenance.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in the field of software development with knowledge in Java software development and eXtensable Markup Language (XML) including the use and development of XML schemas and eXtensable Stylesheet Language (XSLT) to support parsing and import of external data products to an RDBMS.
• Strong working knowledge of all phases of the SDLC to support automated tool development.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to produce finished products, liaise with current and potential customers, prepare and present briefing documents, charts, graphs, and presentations.
• Candidate will require privileged access to development and production systems.

Required Certifications:  Compliance with DOD Directive 8570 on IA Workforce training and certification (IAT Level II). DOD-8570 Cyber Security Workforce certifications are required are Security CE and MS.NET 4.0 Application Framework Developer and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer Web Applications.

Required Clearance: Secret Clearance, Clearable to TS/SCI

Desired Skills: 

• Demonstrated working knowledge of MySQL Relational Database Management System to support unique product format requirements.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) data and data sources (i.e. NGES, EWIRDB, CED, NSA, ONI, NASIC, NGIC,MSIC, and DIA).
