Responsible for associate development through training on policy & procedures. Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directs workforce to insure efficient workflow.
Participate in interview, hiring, review, discipline and termination process for receiving and stocking and other shift personnel.
Ensure dock doors and receiving are ready for inbound trucks.
Ensure product is stocked in appropriate location, in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with food safety and FIFO processes & procedures to create space on the dock and ensure a smooth flow of work.
Monitor a variety of operational information on replenishment activity to ensure stock is available to minimize/eliminate the potential for “shorts”.
Assist the Store Manager in ensuring that signage is changed as needed.
Communicate with management on stock shorts, overages, and damages to correct problems and to reduce customer shortages.
Maintain physical condition and safety of store equipment, including preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment.
Adhere to and communicate, and fully support and enforce all policies, processes, and procedures of the Company.
Ensure that the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Education/Training: High School or equivalent work experience required. College degree is preferred.
Related Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience in a receiving, retail or warehouse environment required. Must have at least two (2) years of lead/supervisory experience.

Must exhibit the strong desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service, and build professional relationships with the client base, maintaining a strong, consistent customer focus. Must possess the keen ability to think quickly and critically, making good, solid business decisions and demonstrating good common sense and the ability to think logically. Must maintain excellent leadership skills, be highly motivated and self-driven, and possess solid communication skills and negotiation skills. Must maintain the adaptability and the willingness to assist in accomplishing the job every day, ensuring that every necessary task is completed to offer the customer fast, easy and efficient, and professional service. Must maintain strong business awareness and an ability to review and interpret financial data. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that is primarily on nights but may include early mornings, holidays and/or weekends. Must possess and exhibit competency and proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft programs.
