DUTIES: Provide radio frequency (RF) and Radio Access Network (RAN) design; utilize ATOLL design tool for coverage and traffic map creation, obtaining technical approval of new site builds and Long-term Evolution (LTE) overlays; perform spectrum management, extension agreements and field strength agreements; design, plan and oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless radio access network for Global Systems for Mobile Communications (GSM), Universal Mobile Telecommunications Services (UMTS) and LTE networks; analyze RAN data to recommend optimal changes to RAN network to improve all the key indexes and performance indicators; apply specialized knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards and processes to work; analyze and interpret research to evaluate and recommend solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and three years of experience in utilizing ATOLL design tool for coverage and traffic map creation, obtaining technical approval of new site builds and Long-term Evolution (LTE) overlays; performing spectrum management, extension agreements and field strength agreements; designing, planning and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless radio access network for Global Systems for Mobile Communications (GSM), Universal Mobile Telecommunications Services (UMTS) and LTE networks.
