Associate Logistics and Industrial Engineering- Entry Level

Position Summary:
 
Entry level position with Logistics or Industrial Engineering focus in support of warehouse or customization operations, based on background and experience of successful candidate.  Position is located in Piney Flats, Tennessee. 
 
Responsibilities may include:
 
·  Project work focused on productivity activities to support cross utilization of team and success of business initiatives.
·  Work closely with various departments to receive and complete assignments, understand operations and make recommendations for improvements.
·   Develop analytics to understand cause-and-effect relationships and improve productivity and business practices.
·   Work with area engineers to resolve questions on estimated time values and make revisions when required
·   Promote a safe work environment (as measured by TRIR and LTIR)
·   Use and improve the SAP/data driven business environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathmatics or related field.
Master’s preferred.

- Collaborative skills and analytical skills are required
- Microsoft Office proficiency required, advanced skills in Excel strongly preferred
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Able to document procedures, express processes in writing and flow chart processes.

- Understanding of lean concepts and tools
