Role Mission

 

The Gucci Group Watches and Jewelry Account Executive, Southwest will work under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager to increase sell through and develop brand exposure, while providing unparalleled customer service to both independent and national account doors in the territory in order to increase overall sales volume, sell through and sell in, through merchandising, training, & in-store sales support.

 

Key Accountabilities

  •  Assist in the achieving sales goals by regularly visiting national and independent account doors to train, re-merchandise and communicate with the selling staff so as to increase sell-through;
  • Travel specified market to service the national and independent account locations with call cycle guidance from the Regional Sales Manager;
  • Merchandise each POS in adherence of corporate guidelines in order to maximize sales and brand exposure;
  • Work with store staff, in conjunction with marketing team, to develop and grow brands visual presence within the store and mall/vicinity;
  • Conduct regular and ongoing trainings, both informal in-store and formal regional trainings;
  • Update sales associates and store personnel on all products, new product launches, sales incentives; advertising; and the Gucci training app;
  • Work closely with all internal company departments: Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure corporate guidelines and procedures are followed;
  • Provide unparalleled customer service and follow up to each retailer;
  • Adhere to all company budgets, policies and procedures.

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience;
  • Able to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing, international work environment;
  • Be schedule flexible and adaptable;
  • Display exceptional selling, communication and organizational skills;
  • Have a proven track record of achieving sales goals;
  • Local/domestic/international travel required;
  • Strong identification with and sensitivity for the Gucci brand;
  • High interest in and aptitude for unparalleled customer service;
  • Positive and contagious energy, motivation and pragmatism;
  • Strong retail fashion/luxury background;
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently;
  • Residency in local market;
  • Professionally groomed in keeping with Gucci Image and standards;
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
