Position Summary:
Work with a team of architectural professionals on a fast paced retail design program as a Job Captain/ Senior Analyst. Produce technical documentation and communicate project progress with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure our projects exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of retail tenant improvement projects
- Provide project team coordinator for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation
- As a Job Captain, coordinate design intent and production schedules with CADD Technicians and provide guidance and quality control
- Coordinate with consultants (MEP), General Contractors, Permit Expeditors, Client Project Manager and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Coordinate with Project Architect for sign/seal of construction document sets for permit
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications and construction techniques
- Experience on construction document preparation
- Ability to focus on s single client with a variety of project types in various stages of design/construction
- Motivated Self Starter with a willingness and ability to work remotely with team members across the continental US
- Proficient in AutoCad
- Proficient in REVIT, Sketchup and other 3D modeling software preferred but not required
- Proficient in Adobe (create, view, comment on PDF)
- Leed accreditation is a plus
- Must be proficient in Sketch up
- Must have at least 4 years experience producing construction documents for restaurants or retail
- Revit experience is a plus
- Experience in Architecture rollout is a plus
