As the assistant to the District Manager, the assistant manager assumes the duties and responsibilities of the DM in the DM's absence. Interacts with all levels of management, store personnel, service center team members and external customers. Must have clear understanding of the goals, policies and procedures of the service operation. Works with the DM to identify issues of concern and develop strategies to improve the performance and efficiency of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial and statistical performance of the product service center as it relates to the current plan
Ensures the service center operates as efficently as possible within set guidelines
Manage inventory levels and product/merchandising process
Ensures all delegated tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
Execution of home office or store operations support including special projects
Compilation of reports and statistical data as assigned or requested
Assist in, coordinate or ensure completion of training as related to product service, administrative, shuttle and technical personnel
Develop or refine follow up procedures to ensure asset accountability
Personnel review/development
Strategic input for future growth advancements
Previous business management experience or related degree
Personnel development aptitude
Proven ability for delegation and follow up
Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
Ability to supervise and direct multiple team members
Dependable, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
