Bell Helicopter is currently looking for a Warehouse Worker for the Lafayette Assembly Center. The successful candidate will contribute to warehouse operations for aircraft assembly on the Bell 525 Relentless. There is no relocation package offered for this position.
All Team Members at LAC are expected to work together as One Team across functional boundaries. Where qualified and when possible, team members will participate in production activities, to include logistics and kitting, and cabin assembly to insure that a quality product is delivered on-time to the customer
This is a first shift position. First shift typically works Monday – Thursday 6 am – 4:30 pm (4x10’s).
Primary Position Responsibilities:
· Receive and count stock items, and record data using computer
· Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse area
· Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse area
· Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using forklifts, or other equipment.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
· Previous warehouse experience preferred
· Prior experience using forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and wrapping machinery preferred
