Key Responsibilities
Support the local finance organization’s monthly closing process through analysis, reporting and preparation of journal entries (15%)
Managing intercompany payables/receivables for global and domestic affiliates (20%)
Reconciliation of intercompany and supplier statements (20%)
Processing invoices related to freight, services, and material expenditures across PPG Protective & Marine Coatings locations (20%)
Manage all aspects of corporate purchasing cards for the PPG Protective & Marine Coatings manufacturing facility in Little Rock including reporting, auditing, and coordination with purchasing to support negotiation of supplier agreements (15%)
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as needed to support the manufacturing, distribution, and selling organizations within PPG Protective & Marine Coatings (10%)
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years professional experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Oracle Financials and SAP preferred
- 1-2 years cost accounting experience preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
