Senior Environmental Safety Health Specialist - North America Logistics Campus

As our Senior Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) Specialist, you'll lead the implementation of ESH policies and procedures. You'll also be accountable for developing training materials that support ESH programs. You'll promote employee awareness of ESH through training and continual company-wide communication. You'll also develop, implement and maintain ESH performance measurement programs, including tracking and reporting progress. You'll provide expert technical assistance to the department and the business units. This opportunity also involves representing Nike in internal and external working groups, committees and conferences involving ESH. You'll build effective relationships with the corporate ESH network to ensure system consistency. You'll also ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations pertaining to ESH standards. You'll interface with regulatory agencies and assist during regulatory inspections; develop and manage an accident and injury investigation program; and conduct accident and injury investigations to identify root causes and eliminate potential hazards and reoccurrences. In addition, you'll participate at the initiation phase of equipment installation and set-up to assist in design for safety, health, ergonomic and environmental principles.
