CAE Methods Engineer

We are seeking a CAE Methods Engineer to provide leadership in advancing CAE capability, efficiency and coverage to enable a more effective Product Development process.
The position will be located Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Benchmark virtual capabilities (internal & external)
- Help identify gaps in CAE process/technology
- Facilitate alliances between functions and vendors to advance virtual verification methods and processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace/Civil/ Computer/Systems Engineering
- 3 + Years CAE experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace/Civil/ Computer/Systems Engineering
- CAE experience in multiple attributes/functions
- Automotive or Aerospace experience
- Proven ability to innovate
- Proven leadership skills and teamwork
- Knowledgeable about the current, as well as emerging technologies and trends in CAE
- Experience in CAD (Catia) and PLM (Teamcenter) tools and CAE Applications (FEA, CFD, MBD etc)
- Strong computer skills (Eclipse, Python, RDBMS)
