CAE Methods Engineer

We are seeking a CAE Methods Engineer to provide leadership in advancing CAE capability, efficiency and coverage to enable a more effective Product Development process.

The position will be located Dearborn, MI.

 Responsibilities:

  • Benchmark virtual capabilities (internal & external)
  • Help identify gaps in CAE process/technology
  • Facilitate alliances between functions and vendors to advance virtual verification methods and processes

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace/Civil/ Computer/Systems  Engineering
  • 3 + Years CAE experience 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace/Civil/ Computer/Systems Engineering
  • CAE experience in multiple attributes/functions
  • Automotive or Aerospace experience
  • Proven ability to innovate
  • Proven leadership skills and teamwork
  • Knowledgeable about the current, as well as emerging technologies and trends in CAE
  • Experience in CAD (Catia) and PLM (Teamcenter) tools and  CAE Applications (FEA, CFD, MBD etc)
  • Strong computer skills (Eclipse, Python, RDBMS)
