Ford Motor Company is looking for a highly creative/strategic Interior Designer for our design studio in Dearborn, MI working on Advanced Interior projects.  The successful candidate will have to develop both conceptual and production based interior solutions in the form of sketch, rendering and 3D digital models. This multidisciplinary design position demands that the candidate be able to translate quantitative and qualitative research findings into branded user experiences and portfolio visions. Specifically, having the ability to think creatively, strategically and analytically.
 

• Create compelling and innovative interior design experiences and visions for Advanced Design.
• Coordinate the work of other design personnel to achieve holistic design visions.
• Create future brand focused design visions.
• Span digital and physical (software and hardware) thinking.
• Problems solve around topics of connectivity, mobility and consumer segments.

 
Basic Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Automotive or Transportation Design
• 2 or more years automotive design experience
• 1 or more years of experience with VRED and MAYA
• 1 or more years of experience with 2D and 3D modeling
• 1 or more years of experience of interior vehicle design
