We are looking for a seasoned Transmission Calibration Engineer to join our growing team.
This team member will work to Quantify and optimize transmission system through transmission calibration to meet FE, performance, drivability, NVH, durability, safety and shift quality attribute targets.

We are looking for a seasoned Transmission Calibration Engineer to join our growing team.
This team member will work to Quantify and optimize transmission system through transmission calibration to meet FE, performance, drivability, NVH, durability, safety and shift quality attribute targets.
Responsibilities:
- Support projects in following transmission calibration process. Analyze calibration test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage calibration system interfaces & processes to deliver balanced vehicle in-lab and on-road attributes:
- Lead calibration input for trade-off discussions;
- Work with transmission hardware/software/modeling engineers to identify and develop new design feature and/or control strategy to support attribute improvement actions;
- Work with engine/powertrain/vehicle system engineers to identify and develop new design feature and/or control strategy to support attribute improvement actions.
- Manage and improve transmission calibration release and report procedure.
- Develop and maintain transmission calibration guideline, especially for the new features.
- Lead calibration-based methodology assessment and deployment.
- Support model-based calibration process and tools development and deployment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transmission/powertrain calibration (or related) experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in use of calibration tools and calibration management system
- Ability to understand and interpret transmission shift schedule and shift control strategy
- Knowledge of various transmission/powertrain/vehicle systems
- Experience with transmission/powertrain dynamometer system
