Early Program Electrical System Interfacing Engineer

Position Summary:

Position Duties
Acts as the primary interface between the program and Electrical teams
Develops the Electrical commodity line-up / systems with Marketing and ensures compatibility with cost targets
Manages the Electrical Functional Led Requirements to support the program teams
Communicates the impact of feature and system changes from the program team to the Electrical teams
Support strategy / planning unit developments with planning teams
Develop commodity strategies for future vehicles with Purchasing
 
Basic Qualifications:
 

• BS Engineering
• 1 or more year of project management experience
• 6  or more months of business financial (business experience or coursework)
• 1 or more years experience with Microsoft office toolset

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Excellent communication skills
• 1 or more years Automotive systems knowledge
• Demonstrable ability to interface with multiple functions and maintain communication in an environment with frequently changing plans/ assumptions
• Ability to work with people across global organization including accommodating meetings (Conference calls) that occur outside of US work times on occasion
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
