As a direct report to the Director of eCommerce, Digital
Marketing, the Sr. Manager of Content Marketing & SEO will be responsible
for developing, defining, and analyzing the content programs and strategies for
Leslie’s entities across the site, blog, social, etc.As the content team manager, you will be
responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring the content team and ensuring
timely execution and proper measurement of programs.
This position will collaborate across marketing channels and
departments, in addition to manufacturers and vendors to drive a cohesive
strategy leveraging team members and publishing relevant and timely content or
special offers of products, marketing strategies and services.This individual is an expert in all things
related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, website testing
strategy, and maintains up-to-date on SEO best practices and is able to apply those
principles to new content.
In this position, you will focus on driving performance
utilizing data, turning insights into action to continuously improve and create
digital content success for the brand.
Job
Responsibilities
Develop, review and
continuously improve how we test and measure the performance of executed
content
Deliver weekly
metrics reporting with in-depth assessment and actionable recommendations
Lead team of
Content Managers and Designers and act as a coach and mentor to grow their
skillsets and abilities
Navigate priorities
and drive a coherent plan with demonstrable results in a timely manner
Monitor and
optimize organic traffic and SEO
Maintain web-based
distribution channels and brand content on websites
Maintain brand
consistency and quality while facilitating the flow and publication of
information on the Internet
Expand ecommerce
product databases and create valuable content for blogs, social media and other
customer outreach channels
Interpret and
translate technical information and components into language and prose easily
understood by customers with a variety of skill sets
Continually verify
website(s) content for clarity, spelling, and proper grammar that meets
corporate expectations
Use the Internet to
conduct research on manufacturers, products, and industry best practices
Utilize Search
Engine Optimization (SEO) and its application in content writing; applying
those principles to new content; staying up to date on the latest SEO practices
and news

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing,
business, communications, or relevant field of study
5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably within SEO and/or content
marketing
Proven ability to manage, coach and lead team members
Coordinate projects; meet tight deadlines on short notice, and multi-task
Possess strong writing and editing skills and understand appropriate grammar,
spelling and punctuation rules
Understand brand revenue management practices and align online content to
support brand image
Support the brand’s defined voice, tone and nomenclature of the site
Heavy SQL Required
Proficient in Google Analytics and other site optimization tools
Proficient in designing tools to make job more efficient
Experience with data entry, databases, Microsoft Excel, creative writing, and
independent research
Understand SEO best practices around testing of code at time of deployments
Understand PCI & apply best practices to all development projects
Ability to learn anything new quickly and be able to MVP that new concept to a
product in short turnaround
