• In partnership with the Sourcing Specialist, the hiring manager, and HR Business Partners as necessary, fully understands business needs and develops sourcing strategies and related activities to fill the identified vacancy.
• Partners with hiring managers to develop effective job advertisements for all positions supported and places ads in accordance with the specified sourcing strategy.
• Sources candidates via the Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, niche sites, social media and other tools to identify potential internal and external candidates.
• Develops and maintains relationships with professional and specialized third-party recruitment firms and other agencies, diversity organizations, professional organizations, high potential candidates and passive job-seekers to build the talent pipeline.
• Reviews and pre-screens applicant qualifications to assess candidate skills and fit against the specific role requirements.
• For positions where skill/knowledge assessment is required, works closely with the hiring manager to develop/ensure that the assessment tools are relevant to the role.
• Prepares interview guides that are relevant to the role and that comprehensively test for technical skills, competencies, customer experience and cultural practices. Supports/coaches hiring managers throughout the assessment process and participates on selection panels as needed.
• Notifies unsuccessful external applicants of hiring decision. Ensures hiring managers conducts close-out meeting with unsuccessful internal candidates.
Education/Training: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred.
Related Experience: • Minimum 3 years experience with recruiting professional level candidates; corporate and/or agency staffing recruiting experience required. • Minimum 3 years experience successfully sourcing and identifying top talent through various methods including LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, internet, job boards, niche sites etc.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Must demonstrate proficient knowledge of HR practices and applicable labor laws. • Must demonstrate strong background in selecting and maximizing sourcing techniques to include cold calling, internal referral, internal candidate database, and internet search engines. • Experience with use of a web-based applicant tracking system – preferably Taleo • Excellent project management, multi-tasking, writing, and oral communication skills are required. • Must have experience recruiting for a broad range of professional exempt positions. • Must demonstrate ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. • Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. • Must demonstrate the proven ability to build and maintain strong internal/external associations
