Responsibilities include, but not limited to: assisting mechanics, perform preventative maintenance on company equipment to company standards.
Oil changes, PM’s, Federal Inspections, routine repairs, brake repairs, washing and fueling of equipment.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations, complete documentation of all repair orders, maintain accurate parts inventory, track assigned repairs by logging in and out of the ShopFax system.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Training: High School education or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have valid driver's license. Previous mechanical experience a plus. Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications and training.Current Diesel Certification a plus. Ability to work independently, unsupervised and complete tasks assigned by a supervisor. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Must be able to work overtime.
Related Experience: Any previous mechanical experience is desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of equipment repair and operation; able to repair and overhaul warehouse equipment; welding ability; able to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); able to work with little direct supervision. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
