SUPERVISORY CUSTOMER SERVICE CONCIERGE (RFT/Customer Relations)

·         MUST BE PROFICIENT IN BUSINESS WRITING, MICROSOFT WORD, EXCEL, & ACCESS.

·         EXPERIENCE IN EVENT COORDINATION & PLANNING IS PREFERRED.

 

Job Summary: Conducts training sessions covering customer relations procedures and techniques using NEXCOM and locally developed training strategies, guides and materials.

Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures that work schedules and priorities are adhered to and keeps Department Manager informed of the status and progress of work assignments. - Assist Department Manager as required and maintains continuity of operations in his/her absence. - Establishes work schedules; makes assignments, provides on-the-job training and instructions on new procedures. - Provides guidance and assistance to subordinates in connection with problems encountered. - Provides feedback to Department Manger in regards to subordinates Work Performance Review. - Conducts basic and refresher on-the-job and classroom customer relations skills training. - Develops and follows training schedules ensuring all associates receive regular customer relations skills training. - Monitors associate customer relations performance. Identifies associates requiring customer relations skills enhancement and skills requiring emphasis. - Provides feedback to supervisors regarding associate customer relations performance. Coordinates training requirements with associates and supervisors, as appropriate. - Conducts or assists in conducting specific merchandising program and product knowledge training for sales associates, as required. - Assists customers as opportunities arise, setting the example of Navy Exchange customer service excellence. - Assists in resolving difficult and/or unusual customer relations issues. - Performs other related duties as assigned

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience in clerical, office or retail sales store work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.

 

AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience in retail sales that provided the applicant with knowledge of customer relation skills and techniques including resolving difficult and/or unusual customer relation issues.

 

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Study completed in a college, university, or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience.
