Quality Inspector

Bell Helicopter - Piney Flats, Tennessee

Position summary
This position will support the Quality department.

Responsibilities will include
Perform all types of quality inspection, to include final close up and return to service
Coordinate with Product Support on special repairs
Assist with on the job training of other employees
Other duties as assigned

Position Requirments

5 years hands-on experience performing component overhaul and/or aircraft maintenance/ inspection/customization on Bell Helicopter specific models
A&P license required, IA may be a plus
Experience on Bell Helicopter products and components, to include researching airworthiness directives, FAA FARs, aircraft records, Bell manuals, and other related documentation in order to complete or modify forms 8130-3, logbook entries, historical service records, and other items
Working knowledge of FARs, and other requirements related to inspection and records research
Ability to work overtime as required

Physical requirements
Ability to sit or stand as required for duration of shift
Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and climb on ladders as required
Ability to lift 50 lbs as required

Educational requirement
High school diploma or GED
