Job Summary
• Coordinate, support and manage the efforts of the associates within their assigned Team.

Responsibilities

• Manage rules of engagement by channel (contract office products sales associates, .com, retail (stores plus over 250 retail account managers) and legacy) – including margin control, quoting/sourcing differences from normal special order, customer direct follow up, etc. Supporting over 50 quote requests per day. Support twelve (12) order classes driving channel sales. Working knowledge and management of four different order entry systems – Linc, Sunrise, Invision and COMs.
• Demonstrates customer-oriented leadership and sets an exemplary customer service-oriented attitude and style for the entire team. Conducts Team Meetings to review sales, client, process, vendor and administrative issues
• Assists in developing and updating departmental procedures and processes. Promotes Teamwork, ownership and accountability to Team.
• Completes appropriate documentation for associates relative to performance (positive or negative). Annual completion of performance appraisals to include measurable goals and development objectives that will assist associates in reaching desired career levels and department objectives. Interview prospective candidates for the SCS department. Maintains a competent staff consistent with the workload and budget

Qualifications

• Mastery of subject matter to execute within all positions managed. Including products and pricing knowledge to meet customers needs and systems knowledge for all various channels supported
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive while supporting the organization’s preferences and priorities as each channels have varying needs.
• Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills, and strong attention to detail
• Strong industry product and decoration knowledge preferred
• Working knowledge of applicable software systems
