The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the creation and maintenance of equipment job plans, and scheduling of all maintenance work. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler works closely with maintenance supervision, production scheduling, and production supervision to coordinate maintenance work with production.

 

Major tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and Production Scheduling regarding work to be performed
• Review requested work and break down into component tasks in job plans
• Identify required technical skills to perform maintenance tasks
• Identify and reserve all required materials for planned and scheduled maintenance work
• Schedule preventive, predictive, and planned corrective maintenance work
• Prepare 4 week rolling forecast and weekly schedule for maintenance technicians
• Analyze completed jobs and identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the work plan
• Maintains maintenance work management metrics


Basic Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)

 

Other Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree, especially in Mechanical Engineering, is preferred
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Possesses a customer service oriented mindset
• Ability to establish priorities, handle many projects at once, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
