Assist the Maintenance Department by managing the daily preventative maintenance scheduling and parts ordering/purchasing for a large manufacturing plant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the plant’s Maximo owner (work order tracking system), handle all interactions required with technical support.

Prepare weekly PMs for assignment/scheduling by the maintenance engineers.

Create work orders and new PMs as required. Close out completed work in Maximo.

Ensure Maximo equipment list is accurate and linked to work orders and PMs
-
Track maintenance metrics (open/closed work orders, % planned work, PM On Time%)
-
Source non-stocked parts required for work orders and PMs
- Manage the work of the Janitorial and landscaping contractors – resolve issues as necessary.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance and/or manufacturing environment using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Minimum High School diploma, prefer additional education

Excellent verbal and written communications skills
-
Ability to learn quickly
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Initiative and Attention to Detail
-
Able to understand equipment names and functions from a maintenance perspective
