Execute the corporate employment programs. Will serve as the primary point person for all employment activities for associate employment.
Key Accountabilities:
Talent Selection and Workforce Planning
Use targeted sourcing to match search for viable candidates - use of technology (Taleo), appropriate job boards, pipelining, campus recruiting, job fairs, networking, diverse channels, etc…
Drive recruiting initiative for both exempt and nonexempt populations within region.
Prescreen candidates and offer recommendations to hiring managers
Partner with Facility VPO and Director of Finance to develop seasonal and specific workforce hiring plans for hourly Associates
Ensure successful on-boarding & orientation of new hires, including partnering with L&D Manager with the on-boarding of executives and seamless execution of the pre-employment process.
Lead and manage system data integrity - Post positions effectively, disposition candidates effectively and timely, set local expectations for sourcing candidates through Taleo, improve hiring metrics set out by corporate standards.
Capture available tax credits/revenue through government hiring and training programs - ensure internal processes are compliant with regulations and company policies.
Train hiring managers on various interviewing techniques, including behavioral-based and experience/accomplishments assessments.
Generalist Human Resources
Address compensation questions/concerns - involving key stakeholders to resolve issues and respond appropriately to pay concerns.
Lead culture development through participation in "Partners in Time" efforts, executing employee surveys, proving HR leadership in communication efforts (Rallys, department meetings).
Must agree to flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the business.
Any other HR responsibilities management deems necessary.
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Thorough knowledge of recruiting application(s) and HRIS applications.
Two years experience with various types of behavioral interviewing methods
Two years experience using Excel
Strong results orientation
Preferred Requirements:
Taleo experience and/or PeopleSoft experience
Work in operational settings - manufacturing, logistics, etc…
Experience hiring for seasonal demand peaks - workforce planning
Experience being flexible in a fast paced environment
Strong written and oral communication abilities
Strong computer skills - experience with data organization; use of pivot tables, etc…
Influence and negotiation skills
Change management skills
Strong problem solving skills; conducting investigations
