This role is responsible for serving as the Macy’s change team liaison with Macy’s/ Bloomingdale’s business partners at all levels of the organization. This manager will lead the development of the Stakeholder Engagement plan, serving as the liaison between the business stakeholders and the matrix training and communications team members. Primary responsibilities include creating detailed project plans, gaining support and buy-in for key milestones and timing, and leading communication between key stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of key project components. This role will also support the HR User Experience team, working closely with the technology team to ensure UX business requirements can be met, and that all UX decisions are being surfaced to the appropriate stakeholders as needed. Influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization by identifying and communicating project change impacts and risk assessments based on stakeholder observations and direct stakeholder feedback.

Essential Functions:
• Develop the stakeholder engagement plan;
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the matrix training and communications team members, ensuring all stakeholders are in the know and aligned to the plan;
• Oversees the global change, communications project plan and makes changes as necessary;
• Responsible for providing weekly status card updates to the PMO team, identifying risks to the change communications activities;
• Manage the user experience project work, working closely with the technology and process teams to ensure business requirements can be met and that critical UX decisions are being surfaced to the appropriate stakeholders as needed;
• Influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization by identifying and communicating project change impacts and risk assessments based on stakeholder observations and direct stakeholder feedback;
• Collaborate with all team members to create a global project plan for the change management plan, gain support and buy-in and maintain plan ongoing;
• Develop and deliver change communications materials as needed;
• Lead the change impact process by attending regular process design sessions and interacting on a regular basis with Macy’s/Bloomingdale’s executives at all levels of the organization to capture and document all changes associated with process and policy design;
• Own agenda for regular change team meetings, including meeting set-up and soliciting agenda items from the extended team;
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field of study.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred with Macy’s and how talent operates in all business functions.
• Change Management, Organizational Development and/or Corporate Communications experience preferred.
Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
• Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability:
• Must have the ability to critically analyze cases for decisioning accommodation requests.
Physical Demands:
• This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment. May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Other Skills:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Advanced TechSmith Snagit knowledge.
• Effective in learning new technologies, collaboration, thinking logically and understanding business requirements.
Work Hours:
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
