The North America Supply Chain (NASC) Internal Communications Manager is responsible for conveying program, project and company information to our Distribution Center (DC) employees ­–­ through a wide variety of internal marketing and communications media and by leveraging the Nike brand and its leadership. Key objectives for the role are:

    • Empower employees to deliver Nike’s mission and brand promise
    • Connect employees to Nike’s priorities and growth agenda as well as North America Supply Chain’s strategic plans and goals.
    • Inspire employees using the Nike brand, enabling them to experience its uniqueness first-hand; thereby, creating strong brand advocates

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working directly with team members and stakeholders – including, but not limited to, NASC Comms, Distribution Center leadership, HR, Transition Management, and DC Operations – to develop communications plans that identify business goals, measurable objectives, audiences, key messaging, channels, cadence, and metrics.
  • Writing and editing on-brand content for new programs and initiatives, internal campaigns, presentations, websites, videos, and events as needed – and manage entire stakeholder review process
  • Managing and executing communications tactics across print, digital, in-person meetings and events
  • Managing external marketing and communication vendor partners as needed
  • Managing internal resources, including but not limited to: stretch assignment employees dedicated to communications and facility tour guides
  • Coordinating all communications timelines and deliverables
  • Creating opportunities, and messaging, for leadership to engage and be visible and accessible to employees, thereby promoting greater employee-leadership dialog
  • Working with North America (NA) Internal Communications team to generate stories related to the Distribution Center and its employees for the wider NA and Global workforce
  • Proposing and developing tools for employees to receive company content in relevant, real-time ways
  • Measuring communications effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of marketing or communications experience (Internal Communications experience preferred) in an agency or corporate environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – including PowerPoint & Keynote
  • Experience working with other creative professionals – writers, designers, etc.
  • Deep understanding of evolving communications, and design, trends and channels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
