As the NFS/ NSO Supply Chain Project Manager you will be leading process change, excellence and improvement across the NA Brick & Morter Retail Supply Chain.  You will play a direct part in the enablement of current and future supply chain capabilities for both brick & morter channels. You will drive the use of optimum communication methodologies to inform and educate our stakeholders on project statuses. You will interface with NASC& DTC leadership partners to gain an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the business.  Building strong & effective partnerships with business stakeholders will be critical in ensuring proposed, and implemented, changes are successfully executed.  Collaboration with global partners will be important in seeking opportunities to leverage learning’s from other geographies.  In this role, you will also represent and advocate for store business needs in various North America and global cross-functional projects.

 

key accountabilities

§  Utilizing NIKE Project Management principles create appropriate documentation and communication plans to support project.

§  Provide regular communication to stakeholders as to status of key business priorities.

§  Build and achieve consensus when discussing and presenting opportunities.

§  Ensure all Supply Chain stakeholder’s input is received and represented when making key business decisions.

§  Represent and advocate for NASC and DTC on cross-functional projects.

§  Act a liaison between tech teams and the business stakeholders as needed. 

§  Partner across geographies to leverage learnings & to reach global consensus where possible.

§  Utilize LEAN methodology (as applicable) through problem-solving and process improvement activities.

§  Partner with DC Operations managers on day-to-day execution of SLA of store orders.

§  Play key role in preparations for DTC store peak shipping periods (Back to School and Holiday).  


 

Requirements for the position include:

  •            Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field preferred. Two additional years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  •            Minimum of 5 years supply chain-related work experience   
  •              Demonstrated strength delivering process improvement initiatives
  •             Experience within retail environments a plus
  •             Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience in meeting facilitation and presenting to senior leaders a plus.
  •             Ability to produce on-time quality deliverables in a deadline-driven environment while balancing multiple priorities
  •            Cross-functional project team skills, self-starter and accustomed to driving for results with limited supervision
