Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
• Receive Material Discrepancy Reports (MDR) from the value streams. Determine whether the discrepancy meets MDR requirements. Enter the MDR into BHTCL’s system. Order, receive and issue MDR parts. Disposition discrepant parts as directed by BHTCL and in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Follow up on parts status and report weekly to the Customizing Manager the status of parts and their availability in relation to schedule. Recommend cannibalization actions as required to meet the delivery schedule
• Receive rework notices from the value streams. Open rework operations in Visual as required. Determine if reworks meet the reporting on Root Cause Corrective Action limits. Recommend RCCA initiation to the appropriate value stream manager
• Work with the Accounting Department to insure MDR work orders are closed and invoiced properly.
• Receive warranty claims for customizing equipment from customers and/or Bell Ft Worth Warranty Manager. Determine if warranty is valid. Initiate action to resolve the warranty claim. Follow up and report status to the Customizing Manager and the Warranty Manager as required. Submit warranty invoices to the Customizing Manager for claims above the threshold. Recommend cannibalizations actions to meet customer satisfaction requirements
