HR Manager

• Acts as a true HR business partner; strong manager and customer relationships, understands the business, provides guidance, and proactively develops solutions that adds value to the business.
• Provides guidance to managers on all HR related issues, and responds in a timely manner in identifying appropriate solutions.
• Acts a single point of contact for employee questions/problems, providing guidance on policies and procedures and assisting in finding quick resolution; actively responds with sensitivity to the needs of all employees.
• Provides HR support in organizational change initiatives including; job design, restructuring, promotions and new hires.       
• Investigates and resolves a variety of employee relations issues (e.g., EEOC claims, harassment, discrimination, ethics, Resolve, etc.) in a consistent and fair manner.
• Communicates, interprets, and administers HR policies and procedures for assigned client group.  Reviews and understands new and existing employment laws and provides appropriate guidelines.
• Manages Talent Review and Performance Management process.
• Drives Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed that may include; supporting hiring events, pre-screening candidates, conducting interviews, and developing offers.
• Provide tools, training and support to managers ensuring they make effective hiring decisions.  Ensure legal compliance with respect to applicant processing.
• Ensures compliance with all PPG and governmental policies relating to EEO/Affirmative Action
• Trains management on a variety of HR topics both in person and via webinars.
• Manages projects to improve overall HR services at a local level as well as participating in larger HR
  Strategic initiatives.
• Supervises HR Coordinator with day to day tasks.  

• The ideal candidate will have 5 years of related HR industry experience, prefer Mfg. environment.
• Expertise in multiple areas of HR preferred, with leadership experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field is required.  
• Candidates should possess outstanding business, analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Candidates must possess a high level of integrity and the ability to work in a fast paced, team based work environment, and have a passion for providing responsive customer service.
• Travel 10-15%
