Sr. Real Estate Analyst

Position Summary:
Sr. Real Estate Analyst role within JLL’s Corporate Solutions business supporting a financial services client in Charlotte, NC. This position will have responsibility for the strategic planning and transaction modeling support for all transactions within a region of the client portfolio. The analyst is also responsible for the financial planning and forecasting of all activity within the region they support.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of detailed financial modeling for transaction activity under consideration to support the overall business case development
- Support of presentation materials for executive level transaction reviews and approvals
- Perform a lead role in the financial analysis inherit to the monthly forecasting and planning of all cost associated with activity within portfolio of responsibility
- Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and client-ready documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations.
- Collaborate with team to develop and enhance efficiency of reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrity
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrating confidence in building and effectively maintaining positive relationships with clients (internal and external) and co-workers
- Experience with real estate modeling and analyses in excel, including net present value, internal rate of return, cash flow, and P&L
- Ability integrate across finance and account service lines; connecting dots across key responsibilities and multiple service lines
- Basic understanding of real estate asset management
- Ability to influence partners and teammates
- Highly organized with effective time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Collaborative manner and work ethic
- Ability to provide discrete and confidential handling of sensitive information
- At least three years of work experience in finance, accounting, or investment. Real estate experience is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
